Attendance Fee

Attending the event costs $5 per person; volunteers get in for free.

This helps to cover event food and supplies as well as facility costs. Payment is due at check-in.

Due to rising costs, we have indefinitely suspended the group discount we offered in past years. Online payment options are also discontinued for the time being, though we are looking into bringing them back. Teams can still pay for all attending members at once via cash or check.

However, this year, in alignment with their mission to lower barriers to entry, Notre Dame HS and FRC Team 1967 are generously offering a need-based sponsorship to cover the WRRF Conference attendance fee for up to twenty (20) attendees. If your team has a financial need and intends to attend only one regional this season, you may qualify. Please see this form for more details and fill it out to apply.

Even if you're paying for your team as a group, all attending members must still register individually so that session leaders have accurate headcounts to prepare for and contact lists to send resources to.

Food

Attendees must bring their own lunches. Volunteers will have lunch provided for them, unless they explicitly decline.

Snacks and refreshments are included in the attendance fee, and will be offered to both attendees and volunteers during lunch. Light breakfast foods (e.g. coffee and fruits) will also be available for everyone in the morning.

Health & Safety

We are not requiring, but still recommend, masks and vaccinations.

In any case, you should continue to exercise typical health precautions (wash your hands often, cover your mouth when you cough, etc.) and stay home if you are showing signs of any sort of illness. There is often lots of sickness going around this time of year - help us keep you and your fellow robotics enthusiasts safe!

Checking In

Check-in will take place in front of Manley Hall.

If you are paying with cash or check, please have that ready. If your team paid for you, let us know what team you're from so we can check it against our list of teams who paid as groups.

Regardless of whether you are an attendee or volunteer, you must come check in with us. Ideally, check in during our designated check-in period (8:30am-9:15am), but if you have to come later, we'll have staff at the front desk until the late afternoon.
